Bridget F., from Napa, California, spent last March sailing with a friend through the Caribbean on a tall mast sailing ship.  They visited seven different islands in the Southern Caribbean, including Barbados and Illes des Saintes, where they spent their days riding scooters and enjoying delicious French cuisine.  Before she left for her great adventure, Bridget stopped by American Eagle to purchase a few necessities— flip flops, jewelry, shorts and other summer essentials.  Although her trip has ended, Bridget didn’t reserve her AE clothing just for the sea—she still receives compliments regularly on her blue AE shorts!

Where Has Your AE Been - Kazakhstan

Jessie I., a former AE Store Associate from Indiana, Pennsylvania, moved to Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan, in April when her boyfriend began his teaching job at Nazarbayev University. Jessie wanted to learn more about the Kazakh culture and see more of the world, so she has been exploring her new country in her favorite AE clothes. Every time Jessie sees someone wearing AE she shouts, "American Eagle!" and even though they only speak Russian, they know what Jessie means!

Where Has Your AE Been - Australia, California and Italy

 Today's Where Has Your AE Been features a guest post from the Women's Fleece Assistant Buyer Teammate, Elizabeth N.

My name is Elizabeth and I am the new Women’s Fleece Assistant Buyer Teammate at American Eagle Outfitters. Although I just graduated from the University of Southern California this year, I still found time to travel throughout college.

Last year I studied abroad in Melbourne, Australia.  Australia is an amazing country and I loved seeing the kangaroos!  Below I am wearing Aerie Slim Gyms at the Sydney Opera House.  They are so comfy and perfect for walking and sightseeing.

Last November and December, Tristan traveled to Durban, South Africa with his job at the Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC). Mikala P., originally from Northern California but is currently living in Germany, took a missions trip in March 2011 to Uganda. While in Uganda, her group helped build a new classroom at a school that had just opened, as well as taught English to the students. Mikala rocked her AE Polo all around Uganda!

Airman First Class (A1C) Matthew B. of the United States Air Force is currently stationed at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. Azores is made up of nine major archipelago islands in the North Atlantic, about 1,000 miles west of Portugal. Azores also made National Geographic's List of 'Top 10 Summer Trips' last year.

Caitlin O. from Ontario, Canada, traveled to Kenya in 2008 to do volunteer work for the Mombasa-based Sponsor an African Scholar. She spent most of her time working with the youth of Mombasa, meeting the teens that the charity sponsored and visiting their families and schools. Where Has Your AE Been - Italy and France

Kate G., a recent University of Arizona grad, spent her Spring 2011 semester studying abroad in Orvieto, Italy. Before she left, her parents gave her an AE Leather Jacket for Christmas which she rocked all over Europe. While in Italy she rode bikes in Chianti, walked through the ruins of Pompeii, hiked through old towns and villages in Cinque Terre and Positano, learned to make tiramisu, and saw the Pantheon, Vatican and Sistine Chapel.

Delia C. and her husband live in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Every year Delia and her husband travel to the US where they love to buy AE. They took a trip to the Carpathian Mountains, which is historically known as Transylvania - home of Dracula! They traveled to Transylvania to sight-see and to go snowboarding and packed their AE clothes to stay warm and cozy.

Where Has Your AE Been - Bora Bora

Rebecca M. from Vancouver, Canada went on a four week honeymoon trip through Tahiti, Moorea, New Zealand's North Island and Bora Bora in French Polynesia in July 2011. While in Bora Bora, she swam with sharks in open water, toured the islands by jet ski and stayed in an over-water bungalow.
