• Congratulations to Connecticut's Woman's Basketball Team for winning the BIG EAST Championship Game. The Huskies defeated 10th ranked Notre Dame 73-64 to win their fourth straight BIG EAST Championship.

• On the first day of the men's tournament, Alex from Villanova won free AE jeans for a year for making a half court shot in our AE Challenge at the Villanova vs. USF game. In an extremely close game, Villanova lost 69-70 to USF.

• Get your glasses ready - all 15 of the men's games are being shot and broadcast in 3D on ESPN 3D! This marks the first time an entire conference tournament is being offered in 3D.

The tournament continues at Madison Square Garden in NYC. The BIG EAST Championship game will be played on Saturday, March 12. Follow along with your bracket.

2011 Big East Championship

American Eagle loves college basketball and we are proud to be a sponsor of this year's Big East Championship which kicked off today with the women's teams in Hartford, CT. It was a great first game between PITT and USF. With PITT edging by 63 to 60.

The PITT cheerleaders and band just barely made it to their own game. Their bus broke down at 4 a.m. this morning and had to wait for another bus. They made it just in time for tip-off!

The Big East Women's Championship game will be played Tuesday, March 8 and will air on ESPN. The men's tournament runs March 8 - 12.

If you're at the games, look out for American Eagle. At every game during the tournament, we will be having an on-court challenge with the chance to win jeans for a year!!
