Los Angeles-based indie pop artist LUCY SCHWARTZ has released the six-song KEEP ME EP today, whetting appetites for her forthcoming third album, due in 2012. The release of KEEP ME follows the announcement that her track “Cold” -- co-written and performed with Aqualung -- will appear on the THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 SOUNDTRACK, due November 8th. The KEEP ME EP is available for download from iTunes and Lucy’s website.
LUCY SCHWARTZ will perform at two stops on the upcoming THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 red carpet event and concert tour, which will also feature performances from Aqualung, Sleeping At Last and appearances by cast members Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli and Jackson Rathbone.
The KEEP ME EP is a marked lyrical and musical evolution from last year’s full length Life in Letters, an album that established Schwartz as a unique musical force, whose voice will continue to resonate for years to come. With its haunting melodies, melancholy romantic perspective, KEEP ME provides a taste of what’s to come on LUCY SCHWARTZ’s forthcoming full length, due next year.
