Australia's
really been whipping out the big guns lately with some artists on the rise.
Sydney-based Panama
is sure to be one of them. They’re coming out with their self-released debut
single “Magic” worldwide on March 2nd. The single includes two remixes from Midnight
Magic and Gavin Russom (Crystal Ark), all mixed by Eric Broucek of DFA Records. Our friends at FILTER
Magazine premiered the exclusive download of "Magic" remixed Midnight Magic!
Midnight Magic's remix of Panama's first single
"Magic" busts out the 80's pop sensibility with some brighter modern
spins on synth elements. The band is preparing for the release of their
forthcoming album, also produced and mixed in Los Angeles by Eric Broucek of DFA fame (Holy
Ghost, Eleanor Friedberger, !!!).
